StatusRegular TimeApply NowJob Code:3243Position supports the Robotics Requirements Division of the Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate. Unmanned Ground Robotic Systems Capability Developer provides JCIDS research and writing support to legacy, current, new start and Army directed products and initiatives. Legacy and current programs are defined as projects with approved JCIDs capability Performance Work Statement Robotics Requirements Directorate Comprehensive Support documents that are generally between Milestone A and post Milestone C in the Defense Acquisition System (DAS). These projects can include, but are not limited to all ground robots considered Non Standard Equipment (NSE), Common Robotic System Individual (CRS I), Universal Robotic Controller (URC), Lightweight Reconnaissance Robot (LR2). New start and directed initiatives are defined as projects without approved JCIDS requirements, generally pre Milestone A in the DAS or being procured in innovation rapid acquisition techniques. These new start and directed requirements may include but are not limited to Squad Multipurpose Equipment Transfer (SMET), SMET Modular Mission Payloads and Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV). Provide and prepare information for the Robotics Enhancement Program (REP) lead and its various robotic testing operations, as it pertains to UGV/UGS solutions for dismounted forces. Reports to the Task Order Team Lead.Mandatory Skills: BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, robotics, business management, project management, information systems, or computer science. Four (4) years of specialized UAS experience. General working knowledge of various areas dealing with ground robotic platforms (autonomy, way point navigation, obstacle avoidance, subterranean obstacles, wireless and tethered communications, controllers, Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUMT), digital interfaces, combat vehicle lethality, power and energy). General working knowledge of various areas dealing with robotic platforms such as artificial intelligence, interoperability, network security, machine learning and collaboration.
