Description Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a Senior Accountant to work with a client located in Lawrenceville on a short-term contract / temporary to hire basis. Must be open to working onsite 4 days a week (hybrid schedule). Your responsibilities in this role:
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Monthly Financial Reporting
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
ERP systems experience
