Growing IT asset recovery & electronics recycling company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to help oversee facility operations at our Macon, GA location.
Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all shipping, receiving and inventory management activities at our Macon, Georgia facility. Key roles will be hiring, training, and overseeing warehouse staff, managing to quality and productivity objectives, achieving customer satisfaction for both our inbound and outbound clients and customers, evaluating and recommending operational improvements to help increase service performance and profitability, managing employee safety, and maintaining facility and equipment. The right candidate will be experienced in the aforementioned areas, and be a hands-on manager with staff, customers, material, and equipment. Reports to V.P. of Operations.
Requirements
Tech savvy with experience in computers and other IT products.
Certified forklift operator
Clean driving record and willingness to drive company box truck (CDL not required).
Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Comfortable utilizing inventory software, ERP systems, and MS Office in daily operational functions
Ability to input, retrieve and evaluate information from reports
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills.
