Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the HVAC industry for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Marietta, Georgia. The role involves managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the workplace. Responsibilities: Accurately and promptly manage incoming payments Generate and distribute invoices to customers efficiently Accurately apply incoming payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit cards, to customer accounts Ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted by reconciling customer accounts Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices Maintain and update customer files, including contact information and payment histories Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collection forecasts Professionally address and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes with customers Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer issues and improve the billing process Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles. Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation processes and techniques Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing procedures and operations Proven experience in Cash Applications Strong skills in Cash Collections Hands-on experience in Commercial Collections Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle financial software tools Proficiency in QuickBooks Working knowledge of SAP software solutions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
