Description We are in the industry of commercial real estate, adding a Property Accountant to our team based in Norcross, Georgia. This role primarily revolves around tenant relations, accounting support, invoicing, and property operations. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for tenants and internal teams, ensuring efficient operations while providing high-quality service.Responsibilities Ensure effective communication with tenants, keeping them updated about property events, updates, and maintenance schedules. Oversee 1.08 million square feet of commercial properties, managing tenant relations, and daily operations. Handle invoicing and billing processes using MRI software, including coding and passing invoices for approval and processing. Assist in timely and accurate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reporting, and promptly resolve any discrepancies. Collaborate with tenants, brokers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and ensure tenant satisfaction. Support Property Managers and the Regional Property Manager in achieving property goals and objectives. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with time-sensitive deadlines, ensuring completion within set timelines. Assist with general property management tasks, including coordinating maintenance requests, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and lease terms. Partner with accounting teams during financial reporting periods, ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided promptly. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for the role. Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential. Proficiency in using AMSI is a key requirement. Knowledge of AppFolio software is advantageous. Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is mandatory. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a vital requirement. Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Understanding of Accrual Accounting is mandatory. Prior experience in Auditing is highly beneficial.
