We need hands-on care for my 88 year old father who suffers from dementia. Assistance with all ADLs is necessary. Examples:
personal care including changing briefs, catheter drainage bag and bed baths
dressing
assistance taking medication
prompting to drink
assistance transferring between bed and wheelchair
exercise including resistance bands for his arms and legs as well as standing/sitting repetitions
provide companionship and social interaction
We have part-time shifts available in the evenings and on weekends.
Caregiver Preferences:
CNA with current license/certification
available for 4-hour weekend shifts in the morning and/or evening
available for 4-hour weekday shifts on Monday and/or Friday evening
light housekeeping
local, within 35 miles of Ellijay
Non-smokers only
