Candidate must have 5 years minimum experience as a diesel mechanic. Earn up to $35 per hour starting pay depending on experience and certifications. Must be familiar with diagnostics tools such as Diesel Laptops, Cummins Insight and J-Pro.
Key Responsibilities include:
Performing preventative maintenance such as oil changes, lubes, tires and general maintenance.
Diagnosing and repairing problems on a variety of equipment and manufacturers
Advanced work on transmissions, after treatment systems and engines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
Advanced mechanical aptitude and 5 years of diesel repair experience (required)
Basic computer skills
The ability to work well as part of a team
Regular attendance and timeliness are required
