Primary Function of the PositionThe RMA Logistics Coordinator is responsible for processing Service return materials (RMAs) and coordination of domestic and international Service-related shipments. This position will energetically monitor and expedite the movement of materials through the Service Logistics processes.Essential Job Duties This position will fulfill the following roles:Process, disposition, and track related returnsReceive all field returnsProcess specific returns requiring sterilization to ensure safe handlingProcess all items returned from repair service providers into appropriate inventory locationsShip and receive repairable items to and from external service providersExpedite excess returns for priority release to Service InventoryManage discrepant returns to enable RMA processingControl return material storage within RMA Receiving areaIdentify and communicate gaps in RMA processProcess shipments in a timely manner according to service level requirementsDemonstrate exceptional comprehension of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Department Operating Procedures (DOPs), and work instructionsPerform other projects or duties that may be assignedAssist Material Handlers as needed to drive productivity and accuracyComply with general Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and Warehouse housekeeping processesMaintain warehouse safety and housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles.Achieve all warehouse-related tasks certificationsCommunicate verbally and via email the status of material movements and transactions to appropriate internal and external customersActively participate in the Continuous Improvement program, including the creation and implementation of moderate-scale improvementsMust be apt and willing to train new employees and share knowledge with cross-functional teams to ensure success of our initiatives
