job detailsjob summary:IT Technician (Level 1 Helpdesk)Location: Pendergrass, GA (Onsite)We are seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join our client's team. In this role, you will provide essential IT support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, handling various technical issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting. You will support over 1,300 end users and ensure smooth daily operations through effective problem-solving and technical expertise.Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 helpdesk support for PCs, printers, and related hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office applications, group authorizations, and Active Directory.
Respond to incoming tickets via TrackIT software, walkups, and emails to resolve user issues efficiently.
Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, and IP phones in a networked environment.
Collaborate with the IT team to support ongoing projects and ensure alignment with business goals.
Provide guidance and technical training to end users as needed.
Document incidents and solutions thoroughly to improve knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and hardware issues.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (TrackIT preferred) for issue tracking and resolution.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Conduct network and software administration, including troubleshooting for end users.
Provide training and consultation as needed on hardware and software and make recommendations about future planning and IT resource needs.
Analyze business requirements to identify projects and technologies to enable business improvements and serve as the project manager for IT initiatives from concept through release.
Provide technical support to end users via telephone, e-mail, or in person.
Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA. Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Follow all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.
