Facilities Maintenance Technician

Description:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs

Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol

Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs

Implement, with Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs

Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.

Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes

Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital client, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.

Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner

HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting

Chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, exhaust

Electrical wiring and installation (outlets, furniture, fans)

Painting

Carpentry and flooring

Plumbing for sinks, restrooms, kitchens

Minor appliance repair

Furniture repair

Allen Bradley and Trane Tracer controls

7AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday with occasional OTMust be able to be on-call rotationTools providedUse own transportation to and from sites, reimbursed for mileageSkills:Plumbing, Facilities maintenance, Electrical, Troubleshooting, Maintenance technician, Hvac, Repair, Preventive maintenance, Painting, Drywall, Facilities, Carpentry, Cleaning, Facility maintenance, Building maintenance, Facility, Blueprint, Lighting, Janitorial, Schematic, Hand tool, General maintenance, BoilerAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
