Henny Penny Art Space and Cafe is looking for Bakers for all shifts! The ideal candidate for this position is dependable, self-motivated, alert and active in the workplace. They will have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills while being flexible and ready to learn. Previous bakery or kitchen experience preferred, but we will train the right person!Please no drop-ins or phone calls - email or reply directly to the ad Requirements Be at least 18 years of age Posses a strong work ethic and reliable transportation Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Must demonstrate safe and sanitary working habits Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask Must communicate effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Responsibilities Weigh and measure ingredients Mix and blend batters Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form donuts, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products. Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods Prepare and maintain inventory Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment Qualifications Attention to detail in all aspects of baking Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal Experience as a Baker a plus, but not required Benefits Dental & Vision for part time employment!
