Dental Assistant
Seeking experienced dental assistant.
Responsible for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the dentist in the delivery of quality oral health care. This position requires both technical and interpersonal skills. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
· Assisting the Dentist with and helping to provide direct patient care in a variety of dental specialties and treatment procedures
· Ensure treatment room is fully functional and stocked with supplies
· Coordination of case-related lab work. Ensure on-time delivery and check for accuracy of cases
· Taking radiographs
· Taking impressions of patient’s teeth for study models
· Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment
· Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
· Receive transfers of new patients from the New Patient Coordinator and ensure documentation of relevant client information is complete
· Participate in new patient emergency consults
· Review and ensure accuracy of Dr.’s schedule for maximum productivity
Qualifications:
Seeking mature, responsible, adaptable and personable person. 3-5 years of experience a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
