ILA Local 2046: We are opening our books for applications next Monday, March 10th, Tuesday, March 11th and Wednesday, March 12th between the hours of 9am and 2pm. Applicants MUST have a TWIC card(or be able to get one), a valid drivers license and commercially insurable(meaning; be able for a company to put insurance on you to ride in their company vehicles), a copy of SS Card, a seven year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), a welding certificate or verifiable (2) years welding experience and verifiable mechanical experience and a $100 money order made out to ILA Local 2046 for app fee. There will also be a charge for a welding test if applicate is accepted. Please DO NOT waste our time or theirs(the test facility) if you cannot pass a welding test and don't send anyone to the hall that does NOT meet these requirements.
