Currently we are seeking a shoreside Mechanic - Millwright for maintenance at maritime facilities for work in the Savannah, GA area.
In this role, you will perform preventative, inspection and corrective maintenance of equipment with a primary focus on the material conveying systems of the facility. To ensure maximum productive availability of all belt conveying equipment and fixed plant equipment, minimize down time, continually improve components and systems to extend life and productivity in a cost-efficient manner. To utilize previous knowledge and experience from prior work experience to improve handling systems.
Technical Requirements:
· 5+ years millwright experience with conveying systems
· Welder (stick)
· Steel Fabrication
Other Requirements:
· High School graduate or GED equivalent
· Flexible schedule; rotating shifts, days, nights, weekends and holidays as required
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to qualify for TWIC Card
· Pass Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
