Apprentice Forklift Mechanic Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pooler, GA for an Apprentice Mechanic at Brown Lifts & Equipment LLC. The Apprentice Mechanic will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. They will also assist higher-level mechanics with more complex repairs and work collaboratively with the team to meet customer needs and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as electronic diagnostic equipment
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various positions for extended periods of time including standing, kneeling, squatting and bending
Valid driver's license
Must be willing to learn and grow as a mechanic
Perfect fit, your neighbor or family is willing to ask you to look at their car because they recognize you have interest and talent in that area and you have never worked as a mechanic anywhere.
Must pass a pre-hire screening & drug test
