Polish and finish aerospace components to achieve specified surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
Use handheld tools, buffing wheels, and polishing machines to smooth, deburr, and shine metal parts.
Inspect parts during and after polishing to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.
Identify surface imperfections such as scratches, pits, and tool marks and corrective measures.
Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Work collaboratively with the production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 25lbs
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
