DescriptionEssential FunctionsThe essential functions below describe the general nature and level of work that is to be performed by the team member in this position. Greet donors, with excellent customer service, quickly and efficiently
Receive donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items
Provide donation receipts to donors
Maintain accurate donation records of donors
Organize donations into bins to assist with donation processing
Assist processors with sorting and processing of donated goods
Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations
Other duties as assigned
Additional Duties: Periodically, all roles will be required to perform the following:
Perform general housekeeping duties, to include but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning bathroom(s) and the break room.
Assist with maintaining the appearance of the parking lot by corralling buggies and/or picking up trash and/or debris.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficient Customer Service
Proficient Communication
Preferred Skills:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Prior experience in a retail environment may be considered in lieu of education
Prior experience working in a retail or customer service related environment, preferred
Warehouse experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Standing for extended periods of time
