To provide packaging engineering and PLC programming support to the entire operation including production and equipment. Position has a strong focus on Process and Project Management. Responsibilities:Project management, purchasing, and supervision of contractors for all projects to assure completion on a timely basis within budget.  PLC programming and packaging equipment troubleshooting required.Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.Lead and assist management with appropriate training to assure regulatory compliance.Maintain appropriate communication/relationships with employees at all levels, vendors, visitors.Provide the necessary safety training to contractors.Follow, monitor, and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations, and policies.Participate in daily production/quality meetings.Provide technical support for plant packaging equipment and improvements with emphasis on PLC programming.Observe facility operations on a regular basis.Communicate with Supervisors on a daily basis.Oversee facility operations.
