Housekeeper Job Description
We are looking to hire a detailed oriented Head Housekeeper with a keen sense for care of high-end furniture and environments. This job will require above average skills in relation to laundry, bed making practices, detail cleaning,and hypersensitivity to the people around you. As a successful member of this team, you will need to be an effective communicator with your immediate team members to strategically plan each day and flow well with changes. An extreme level of professionalism and confidentiality is essential.Someone with a passion for systems and organization will do well in this role. Previous delegation and oversight experience.
Housekeeper Responsibilities:
· Assist family and guests when necessary.
· Keep facilities and shared areas clean and maintained.
· Vacuum and mop floors.
· Constant cleaning and stocking of restrooms.
· Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
· Notify managers of necessary repairs.
· Collect and dispose of trash.
· Keep linen/lauIndry room stocked and organized.
· Meticulously clean upholstered furniture.
· Keep windows clean on inside, notify outdoor team of exterior needs.
· Properly launder family and guest's clothes adhering to washing instructions. Care of luxury garments.
Housekeeper Requirements:
· Ability to manage your time efficiently and strategically.
· Work well unsupervised
· Respond positively to constant updates and feedback.
· Work well in a fast-paced environment when principals are in residence
· Ability to lift at least twenty-five pounds.
· Manage basic maintenance and cleaning.
· High school diploma.
· Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with family and guests.
· Strong work ethic.
· Off season Hours: May-November : Monday thru Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
· In season Hours:November-April :Wednesday-Sunday 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
