Seeking Painters, Framers, Carpenters
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Member to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction projects and performing a range of duties to support the overall success of our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in painting, framing, and carpentry to contribute their skills and grow in the construction industry.
Duties:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Perform painting and carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, masonry, siding, plastering, and trim carpentry
- Collaborate with the crew to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in log home construction or related field preferred but not required, willing to train.
- Ability to read and perform basic math skills.
- Strong painting and carpentry skills, including knowledge of roofing, masonry, siding, plastering, and trim carpentry
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Contract Position: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications
- Must be willing to travel and stay out of town
- Lodging and per diem provided
- Transportation provided FROM Lake City, FL, unless otherwise agreed upon
