We are looking for an EXERIENCED Grapple Truck Driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
WAGES BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND TESTING ON GRAPPLE TRUCK.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and transport green waste debris and return to yard and unload
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills:
- (Preferred, not required) Work experience as a Grapple truck driver
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations. Clean Driving Record
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid CDL truck driving license required
- Drug Free workplace; Must pass drug test
Job Type: Seasonal - hurricane debris removal
Pay: $25.00-30.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 7 days/week including weekends; 70 hours per week approximately
Two different locations: one is Valdosta, GA and one is Tampa, FL
MUST BE IN THAT AREA OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THAT AREA
