Job Responsibilities: YSI is seeking a highly qualified Information Technology / System Administrator I with an active Secret Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.
The candidate will be involved with system administration, network administration, application administration, database administration, and computer security support for a broad range of UNIX, Solaris, and PC based computer systems, and weapon system software/hardware. This includes Solaris clustering, Solaris security, Containers/Zones, Shell scripting, Linux Red Hat administration, VMware, Storage/Cloud technology, Cisco IOS, DNS/LDAP/HPOV and Active Directory tasks, Weblogic administration, Oracle DBA, and SW package installation, patching, and upgrading. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidate MUST HAVE a min. Top Secret /SCI Security clearance and maintain such clearance.
AS in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience, with 2 Years’ Experience or minimum 6 Years’ experience with no degree on ISR IT systems
Required to have a Security+ certification and one of the following are required: CISSP, MCSA or CCNA
Experience with at least one of the following as specified in the task order: Windows Server, Shell scripting, Linux (RedHat), VMware, Storage/Cloud technologies, Cisco IOS, DNS/LDAP/HPOV and Active Directory, Experience in UNIX environment, Solaris environment, Weblogic Admin experience, SW package installation, patching, upgrading, Application troubleshooting and testing, Oracle DBA experience in UNIX operating system, experience in high availability environment, experience in software development environment.
Desired Skills:
Experience with at least one of the following: Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensors and Fusion, Communications, Navigation, Identification, Tactical Data Links and Networks, Information Assurance, Avionics OFPs, Support Equipment, Simulations, or Systems Integration.
Experience analyzing, evaluating, development and implementing processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule.
Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
Effective Customer Service and management skills/capabilities; including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally internally and externally.
Strong English language skills (both written and verbal).
Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to those new technologies.
