job descriptionForklift OperatorDo you have forklift experience? Do you like fast paced environments? If so, this is the job for youImmediate opening for a Forklift operator in the Winder area. The positions are temp to perm for the right candidates. Pay is $12. Must have 12 months of forklift experience within the past 18 months!Responsibilities:This position:-requires candidate to set up, operate, and monitor equipment and machinery-requires candidate to maintain a clean machine and surrounding areas-requires keeping stock of materials/products for machine/equipment and replenishing when needed-requires feeding material into machines, adjusting material accordingly-requires trimming and scrapping excess materials.-requires immediately reporting shut down or operating problems of machine.This position contains a large amount of repetitive tasks and requires someone who is capable of working both independently and with others under minimal supervision.Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMSkills:The ideal candidate will have :-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written-Proven mathematical skills-Good manual dexterity.-Acute attention to detail-The ability to walk/stand for up to 12 hours a day and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds-Can reach within hands and arms, bend and stoop, walk, and stand consistently for longEducation:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:Candidate must have:-Incident free Fork-lift experience (Min. 1 year within the last 18 months)-Submit to background check, drug screen & powered industrial truck skills assessment-Have a good attendance record and good work ethic.-HS Diploma or equivalent.-Can read, write, and comprehend English.Please attach a word form of your resume to your profile & apply to this position.
