REQUIRED
BA in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in accounting and management.
Construction industry experience preferred.
CPA preferred.
Ability to organize, plan, direct and train staff.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, planning, financial analysis and tax laws.
This position will be responsible for providing direction and leadership for the accounting operations of the company.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility of Accounting functions required for the operations of Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc.
This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, fixed asset, payroll, tax and financial reporting functions.
Supervision and development of the Accounting staff.
Development, implementation and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and control practices related to Accounting.
Other duties as assigned.
