OCEAN JOY CRUISES, HAWAII – a family owned and operated business, is home of the Kai ‘Oli’Oli, a state-of-the-art 61’ power catamaran, specifically designed for what we do. Be a part of the magical moments we have been creating since 2003. We take guests on dolphin/whale watching, snorkeling cruises and private charters from the beautiful Ko Olina Resort & Marina.

We are seeking an OFFICE MANAGER & BOOKKEEPER who will manage our business office including administering the full cycle of accounting duties and overseeing human resources functions. The Office Manager will represent our company in a variety of capacities and provide support to upper management.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Financial statements and related financial reports

Business tax preparation for our CPA

Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system

Monitor cash levels and flow

Prepare and file reports

Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources

Perform other general bookkeeping duties as determined or assigned

Our ideal candidate is familiar with S-Corp tax law, has strong knowledge & experience with QuickBooks, strong problem-solving skills, great communication skills, strong decision-making skills, excellent judgment, works well within a team, and can remain calm under pressure.

Preferred experience and skills:

Ability to use independent judgment and discretion

Ability to develop and execute effective and compliant solutions to problems/inefficiencies

Flexible in a dynamic work environment

Computer literate and familiar with MS Office products and new systems

Proficient in English, use of office machines, proper telephone etiquette

Accurately, efficiently, and timely carries out procedures and job responsibilities

Professionally and effectively manages and interacts with others

This is a salaried position including:

$55k+ based on skills and experience
