We are looking for an organized, motivated individual with strong administrative and technical skills who is able to make sound independent decisions and take direction, coordinate varied and complex work assignments, and interact tactfully and effectively with staff, stakeholders and the public. Position requires in-person attendance at our Kihei office during regular business hours and is limited to Maui residents.
Technical Skills
Adept working in a cloud-based environment using Office365, with Excel proficiency.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite accounting software highly desired.

Previous experience in accounting required
Responsibilities of the Position: This position will assist in a multitude of tasks which may include (but are not limited to):
Accounts payable tracking and processing
Accounts receivable tracking and processing
Filing, scanning, and administrative organization
Reconciling general ledger, bank, and credit card accounts, including journal entries when required
Contracts processing and tracking
Annual tax document preparation (1099)
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory reporting requirements
Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
