Manager - Converted Van Rental Service (Part-Time)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to manage the operations of our single converted van rental service. This part-time role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a knack for managing small business operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, maintain the van in excellent condition, and deliver an exceptional rental experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rental service.
Manage the booking schedule to ensure the van is rented out efficiently.
Implement and maintain basic operational procedures.
Customer Service:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and reservations.
Ensure a seamless rental experience from booking to return.
Handle any customer feedback or complaints effectively and courteously.
Van Maintenance:
Ensure the van is kept in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained.
Coordinate cleaning service, regular maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
Manage inventory of van supplies and equipment.
Marketing and Sales is a plus but nor required:
Promote the van rental service through social media and other channels.
Develop engaging content to attract new customers.
Assist in creating promotional offers and marketing strategies to increase bookings.
Requirements:
Experience in customer service, preferably in travel, rental, or hospitality industries.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus but not required.
Proficiency with social media and basic marketing skills is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
Benefits:
Earn 20% commission on all rentals.
Additional payment for cleaning the van after each rental either to the manager or a cleaning service.
