Anaina Hou Community Park is hiring for our Mini Golf and Cafe Counter Associate Position.
Anaina Hou Community Park is proud to offer the ONLY 18 hole outdoor mini golf course on Kauai. The course routes through a 2-acre botanical garden for a fun and educational experience. This course is a favorite of locals and visitors to the island.
This is a fun and fast-paced work environment focused on excellent customer service. Job duties include preparing a variety of cafe drinks ranging from espresso to shave ice as well as some light food items. In addition to counter-style service, you will be assisting with greeting and checking in mini golf customers.
The ideal candidate will be an authentic role model for upholding our values as a company and community gathering space and will be committed to our mission to provide a positive experience and uphold the mission of Anaina Hou Community Park.
Requirements:
Food Handlers Certificate (we can help you obtain a certificate upon hiring)
A passion for community building and community programming
Excellent verbal and customer interface communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, lift boxes, push and pull carts
Ability to see the 'bigger picture' of the organization and the park's mission with a willingness to be a member of the team
Applicants with Wednesday, weekend availability and/or Liquor Server Blue Card are strongly preferred.

This job starts at $18 / Hour PLUS tips.
This job has an opportunity for a raise to management and advancement in pay with a proven track record of accomplishments.
This role also has cross-train potential for our events bartending shifts.
Must have reliable transportation to Kilauea.
