The National Tropical Botanical Garden Visitor Program is seeking candidates for the position of Retail Supervisor at our South Shore Visitor Center.
This position is responsible for the smooth operations of the store in a mixed retail and visitor attraction setting. Includes purchasing, merchandising, setting and meeting sales targets, maximizing profitability, and overseeing pricing and stock control. Integrated with the Tour Program, this position is a part of delivering the world-class, mission-driven quality and service our customers expect.
Must have industry and product knowledge, experience with FareHarbor, Square, sales training, ability to motivate and inspire a team, and the ability to deliver the highest quality customer service to visitors and staff.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented with strong analytic, problem solving and prioritization skills. It is important to have excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Requires the flexibility to work all shifts and hours as needed, and to help as necessary with additional projects as determined by the Visitor Program Manager.
Schedule: Varied Days
Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00/ hr.
