We are seeking a Tennis Shop Customer Service Attendant to assist in greeting and welcoming members and guests, enforcing facility policies and procedures, and handling point of sale transactions involving tennis and pickleball rentals, lessons and clinics.
This is a part-time position, with shifts of 7am - 5:00pm on WED and THUR. There is an option to pick up more shifts at times (ex. special events, fill in for others when they are on vacation, etc.)
The Tennis Shop Customer Service Attendant role is the first point of contact for members and guests and set a high standard of professionalism.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Enable the Customer Experience: Greet customers as they come into the tennis shop, answer questions, take messages and support daily operations (primarily of tennis and pickleball court rentals, court scheduling and lessons). Ensure that payments are recorded and collected for all services provided.
Support Daily Operations: Work with customers to reserve court times, work with the pros to record lessons, answer phone calls and ensure smooth, consistent and efficient operations at the front desk.
Plus More: Help keep the tennis shop neat and clean, help stock light inventory, help with larger events/tournaments, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be atleast 21 years old.
Must be able to multi-task. There a times when the front desk is busy.
Background in customer service a plus.
Tennis or pickleball background is helpful but not required.
Ability to work with others and follow standard procedures.

This job is most busy in the mornings. Afternoons are more relaxed. Between customers, you can use the time however you want (ex. read, watch TV, etc).
