Sightseeing Tour Reservationist and Dispatcher- Immediate Opportunity Available!
Temptation Tours is a sightseeing land tour company specializing in luxury Limo-Van tours to Hana. We are seeking a passionate, hardworking team player with a positive attitude to support, both, our Reservation Sales team and Dispatch team, located in Kahului. Part-time positions are open in a convenient Kahului Office for a multi-tasking individual. Long-term Opportunity.
Must be a self-starter, motivated, and willing to work diligently.
Applicant should be mature-minded with excellent oral and written communication and phone etiquette skills. The ability to listen closely and respond to the needs and requests of callers is essential.
Must have significant experience in problem-solving, investigation, and research. Reservationist / Dispatcher must be able to identify the problem, think things through thoroughly, determine and analyze the causes and apply techniques to solve the problem. Must work with minimal supervision and be proactive in approach to problem resolution.
Must be able to remain calm under pressure and cheerfully represent Temptation Tours, at all times.
Two (2) years of sales, customer service, and/or hospitality industry experience; One (1) year of computer or database experience, including proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook Programs.
Detail Oriented with a sincere desire to provide an exceptional Customer Service Experience by creating solutions to each guest's needs based on gathered information - A Plus!
Ability to take advantage of every contact with a guest, (both inbound and outbound calls), to secure reservations for Temptation Tours. Techniques and Training are to be utilized to sell the "experience".
Be available to work any shift during regular business hours (currently 6:30 am – 4:30 pm, 7 days a week). Department hours / shifts may change to meet the call volume, clerical demands, and company goals.
Effectively manage time and tasks to maximize the number of guest contacts per day. Build complete and accurate reservation records and revise existing reservation records as necessary. Maintain a low error factor.
Must have exceptional organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage projects and establish priorities with diverse timelines and responsibilities. Organize, update and utilize your Department Desktop Manual and maintain a neat, uniform, and organized work area.
The successful candidate should possess a natural desire to build strong internal relationships by treating each team member with the same respect, courtesy, and professionalism you would an external customer.
Team participation, positive attitude, and willingness to assist in any project or assignment and perform related duties and special projects as assigned are essential.

We'll consider you as a candidate if you are:
21 years of age or older.
Customer-service oriented, have an outgoing personality, and enjoy using great organizational skills.
Must have lived on Maui for, at least, one ( 1 ) year and enjoy working with activity agents and tourists.
Familiar with the location of Maui’s resort hotels, and condominiums.
Able to read maps and knowledge of Maui’s unique sightseeing attractions.
Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
Must be able to write business correspondence.
Must be able to speak English and at a pitch/tone that can be clearly understood.
Knowledge of basic math.
Must be punctual, have minimal absenteeism, and can manage personal obligations outside of work schedule.
Must be able to sit and work on the telephone and / or a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
Must meet the physical and mental health standards deemed necessary for the performance of essential functions.
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation to get to work.
Able to pass a TSA criminal background check. If you already hold a valid TWIC card, it would be a real Plus for consideration.
