Manta Adventures is looking for an awesome Deckhand to join our crew for our super-fun Manta Ray Night Snorkel trips departing from Honokohau Small Boat Harbor. If you love the ocean, enjoy meeting new people, and have a knack for ensuring everyone is safe first and having a great experience, this job is for you!
What You'll Be Doing
Captain of Customer Fun: You'll be the first and last friendly face our guests see, helping them on and off the boat with a smile. Think of yourself as the cruise director of our Manta Night Snorkel
Gear Guru: You'll be in charge of prepping all the snorkeling equipment, so our guests are ready to dive into a great experience.
You'll help guide our guests in and out of the water, making sure they have the best possible view of these incredible creatures
Safety Superhero: Keeping our guests safe is our top priority! You'll be keeping an eye on everyone while they're snorkeling and giving them a safe and amazing experience.
Snorkel Sensei: Share your knowledge! You'll provide basic snorkeling instruction and safety briefings, turning newbies into confident ocean explorers.
Ship Shape Superstar: Help keep our vessel and equipment clean and in tip-top shape.
What You'll Need to Bring to the Table (Besides Your Swimsuit):
Deckhand or Similar Experience
Swimming Skills That Would Make a Dolphin Jealous: You're comfortable in the water and a strong swimmer
CPR & First Aid Certified: Having these certifications is a huge plus!
People Person Extraordinaire: You've got excellent customer service and communication skills and love interacting with people
Team Player with a Can-Do Attitude: You can work independently but also thrive as part of a team.
Ocean Obsessed: A passion for marine life and the ocean environment is a must! We want someone who's as excited about manta rays as we are!
