We’re Kama’aina Kids, Hawaiʻi’s non-profit Enrichment & Education Professionals since 1987. Job Description:
Kama’aina Kids is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as a Site Coordinators or Group Leaders in our After School programs. Site Coordinators are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of an after-school program. Group Leaders help plan activities & interact with school age students.
The typical schedule for After School is Monday through Friday, from 1:30 or 2pm until 5:30pm. Some programs operate Before School from 5:45 or 6:30am until 8am. Hours may vary slightly by school and program needs. However, No Evenings or Weekends!
Site Coordinators will supervise and support Group Leaders as they implement the program each day. They often interact with school officials and parents. Some time is also spent each week on administrative duties including training, recruiting, marketing, and monitoring program quality. Site Coordinators average about 20 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:
For Site Coordinators:
A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred, but candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in educating students will also be considered.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives on a daily basis.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive relationships with both families and coworkers.
Experience in a supervisory role within a childcare or education environment is appreciated.
For Group Leaders
A High School Diploma or equivalent. No experience is necessary, we will train the right candidate! Group Leaders provide activities and supervision in a safe & fun environment after school each day. It's a fun and rewarding job!
PAY RANGES:
For Site Coordinator - $20-$24 per hour
For Group Leaders - $16-$19 per hour
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain First Aid & CRP/AED Certification (Qualified Training Provided).
