Kaneohe Elementary is seeking a part-time Computer Science/Coding teacher. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, up to 17 hours a week, typically between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the entire school year.
Qualifications include:
Works well with elementary aged students;
Knowledgable of basic programming skills;
Possesses skills in simple programming and troubleshooting technology ;
Organized, reliable and punctual; and
Communicates well with students, teachers and supervisors.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and preparing 30 - 45 minutes lessons;
Teaching lessons to students, grades K to 6;
Keeping attendance,
Grading students;
Submitting information to homeroom teachers on a quarterly basis; and
Maintain and care for our inventory of laptops.
