EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
Part-Time | 12 hours per week | $25.00/hour
Positions available at our Kahului, Lahaina, and Makawao Clubhouses.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, education or a related field preferred.
Previous experience working with youth in an educational setting preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to motivate and engage youth in mathematics support programs.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Math Program Facilitator is responsible for facilitating our Bridge2Math program to support a mathematics curriculum and provide individual and small group tutoring to middle school students (grades 6-8) at a designated Clubhouse. This is a grant funded position.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and execution of daily lesson materials and activities.
Conduct pre and post activity assessments.
Individual tutoring as needed.
Evaluate program quality, effectiveness, and student progress.
Create and present program reports to Director of Operations.
