Looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher to work with us in providing a safe, and nurturing environment here at Aloha School. Key Responsibilities:
To offer a program that meets the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of both the individual and the group.
To foster secure attachments.
To provide parents with information in regards to child development.
To be the dynamic link between the child and the materials.
To provide a prepared environment that is clean, safe, and ordered; an environment which invites the child to explore and discover.
To plan with team teacher’s weekly lesson plans based on child’s individual needs and established curriculum. To involve aids and interns in this process.
To establish and maintain good positive communication with parents though daily contact, and annual conferences twice a year.
To observe children and maintain accurate records and files on each child.
To attend, participate in weekly staff meetings.
To stay current with pertinent information and research regarding child development.
To be a liaison between children, parents, team teachers and administration.
To use appropriate and positive discipline.
To perform tasks as directed.
