The Senior Electrical Engineering Manager will manage projects from beginning to end while coordinating with consultants, managing team, and ensuring that clients expectations are met. Typical duties and responsibilities may include one or more of the following: training, scheduling, coordinating, supervising, reviewing, quality control, and directing consultants and project team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in electrical engineering is required
Minimum 5 – 10 years of well-rounded electrical design working experience with all phases of design and construction
Must have Professional Engineering license in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 2 – 3 year management experience
Minimum 5 – 10 years of AutoCAD and Revit experience
Experience with Bentley MicroStation preferred
Experience using complementing software Photoshop/Illustrator, Sketchup, InDesign a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Experience managing the design of major electrical design projects highly preferred
Organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Lead, manage, and mentor multiple projects teams and have the ability to create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and requirements
Grow the electrical engineering group to be in line with the corporate growth goals and strategies
Pursue on-time completion within budget through stages of the project
Direct and supervise Project Teams
Ensure that the project conform to the contract
Manage profitable financial performance throughout the duration of the project
Able to perform Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews among various building types
Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, and coordinate the bidding process
Travel to job sites as requires to facilitate design and construction
Project planning and integrating engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
Recruit, mentor, and develop staff in partnership with other studio leaders
Maintain a cohesive relationship with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Participate in the development of the new markets while working alongside other sectors
Prepares studies and reports as requested
Performs other duties as assigned
