The Level 2, 3 Superintendent will provide the overall on-site administrative and technical management on a construction project site. This is a mid-level supervisory position managing construction projects ranging in value from $500,000.00 to 10,000.00 Million dollars.
There are positions in Maui, Oahu and Kona. The Rush is Maui right now.
Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to and enforce the Company Safety Program throughout the project site.
Assist with the interpretation of the Company Safety Program as required.
Responsible for site access requirements. This includes defining authorized and unauthorized personnel, PPE requirements.
Work under the direction of the Project Manager communicate with and with the Project Engineer.
Supervise the total construction effort to ensure he project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
Interface with the client, client representative, architects, engineers, representatives, other contractors, union officials, subcontractors, security personnel, etc.
Study constructability of the project and aid in the identification of deficiencies of the Plans and Specifications.
Assume responsibility for controlling critical dimensions necessary for the conformance to plans and specifications of the project.
Provide technical assistance in the construction of the project as required, such as interpretation of drawings, recommending methods , means and equipment, and so on.
Plan schedules, and implement control of the staging functions and security for all on -site visitors, company personnel, subcontractors, outside contractors, an material storage for the job sites.
