Technical Architect

Pay Range: $120K - $130K + Bonus + Relocation

Job Description:
Our client is in the process of expanding their technology team in order to modernize their technology across the board. This person needs to be more on the tech side, ideally someone who has been a Sr. Developer and risen to an Architect level, not someone who was, say a PM.Specific tech stack is not important however this tech stack is broad: MS SQL Server, Angular, UNIX, C# Java, Xamarin Forms, Python. Experience with airline or other travel industry (loyalty and reservations systems like hotels or large call center environments) would be ideal.

This IT portfolio that the individual will be working with includes loyalty, reservations, sales, distribution, and alliances including mobile. In this role you will help to define the principles, standards and guidelines regarding the proper use and deployment of business applications, data and technology within the company.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of technical architecting experience within Engineering environment
• 5+ years experience leading project teams and guiding production efforts in software engineering
• Deep technical knowledge of most of the technical stack: MS SQL Server, Angular, UNIX, C# Java, Xamarin Forms, Python, etc.
• Extensive experience managing high-level projects/engineers to meet or exceed timeline expectations
• Expert ability to write code and advise the work of Software Development Engineers
• Experience leading and facilitating the analysis, design, programming and implementation of viable solutions to highly complex business problems according to user specifications
• Experience leading solutions/design sessions with a program perspective in association with all interdependent systems
• Expert knowledge of technical/business environments
• Understanding the workings of SOX, HIPPA, PCI, DOT, FAA, etc. regs
• Deep knowledge and working experience with Middleware, Systems Management, and Enterprise Data & Access Layers
• Understanding of technical behavior of the compiler and tools
• Dev/Ops, deployment environments
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering and/or IT related field

BonSoft Skills:

• Experience with airline or other travel platforms
• Experience in a single technology area or broad system-level expertise across multiple computing platforms and technologies
• Knowledge of project management methodology
• Ability to recognize and communicate patentable ideas
