Description We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This includes tasks such as reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with accounting software packages. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. Priority will be given to those applicants who live in Hawaii. Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Manage all aspects of accounts receivable and payable.
Conduct reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
Adhere to bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with federal and state laws and requirements.
Issue invoices to customers and suppliers, handle receipt payments.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
Proven bookkeeping experience.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software.
Strong numerical skills, knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
