Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) Must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree
Equivalent combination of knowledge and specialized experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree
Satisfy CSWF 8140.01 Code 45 requirements
MCSD SQL Developer course completion or certificateStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint client, MOSS 2007 and 2010, ASP.NET, JAVA, SOAP, XML/XSL, and C#
IAT Level II/IAM Level I (e.g. CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent)
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
Security Clearance:
Position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
