Job Title: Grant Financial AnalystJob DescriptionThe Grant Financial Analyst will assist with monitoring fiscal compliance across divisions and subcontractors who receive government funding. The role requires close collaboration with project managers and finance leads to ensure coordination between program and financial aspects of grant projects. The analyst will be responsible for consolidating reports and documentation for grant reimbursement, communicating extensively with funding agencies, and monitoring contracts, invoices, project plans, and cash flow. The role also involves supporting federal financial reporting, conducting site financial compliance monitoring, developing special reports, and departmental support and improvement.Hard Skills
Thorough knowledge of funding agency requirements
Working knowledge of the principles and practices of project and program management
Advanced knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
Working knowledge of federal funding agency reimbursement and reporting systems
Advanced knowledge of the principles of accounting
Working knowledge of Company budgeting and forecasting systems
Capability to learn and develop general understanding in engineering and construction practices, facilities siting and permitting process, electric transmission, substations, and distribution systems, utility operations, utility regulation
Working knowledge of LEAN continuous improvement principles and best practices
Working knowledge of SafeStart principles and best practices

Ability to apply and direct the application of specialized financial knowledge and general business knowledge to complex transactions
Intermediate expertise with personal computers and/or mainframe systems and related software applications
Advanced ability to create and interpret trends, models, forecasts, and simulations
