Description of the Role: Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently hiring compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Nurse Aides/Certified Caregivers at our Liliha and Kane'ohe Facilities. This full-time position in the healthcare/medical industry is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Nurse Aide/Certified Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our senior clients, assisting them in maintaining their independence and enhancing their overall well-being. Responsibilities: Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with client care plans. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the appropriate supervisor. Promote a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to proper infection control and safety protocols. Cultivate positive relationships with clients and their families to meet their emotional and social needs. Maintain accurate and thorough records of client care and complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner. Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to enhance your skills and knowledge. Requirements: Active certification as a Nurse Aide or Certified Caregiver in the state of Hawaii. A minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with seniors. Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Compassionate, patient, and able to provide physical and emotional support to clients. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $18 to $25 per hour, paid weekly.
