Woof Top Dog is urgently seeking passionate, skilled, and dog-loving Kennel Staff to join our team at our new dog training facility! If you have a love for animals, experience in animal care, and enjoy working directly with clients, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This role involves maintaining the well-being of our dogs in various training and boarding programs, along with providing top-notch customer service to dog owners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect kennels to maintain a healthy environment
Provide food and water to animals according to feeding schedules
Administer medications to animals as directed
Walk, play, and engage with the animals for their physical and mental well-being
Assist with bathing and grooming tasks
Interact with dog owners and clients, ensuring excellent customer service
Assist Dog Trainers during training sessions
Greet and welcome clients at the front desk
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Passion for working with dogs of all breeds and sizes
Previous experience in animal care, kennel management, or customer service (highly preferred)
Kennel Technician Certification or equivalent (highly preferred)
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Strong physical ability to handle dogs
Customer service experience (highly preferred)
Schedule:
6:30 AM to 6:30 PM weekdays and weekends
Live-in and part time positions are available in Waimanalo as well.
