We are seeking a honest and reliable Shipping Coordinator to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate all aspects of outbound air cargo shipments, focusing on booking, loading and routing of Produce shipments.
Responsibilities:
Monitor emails
Input orders into computer system
Make reservations with air carriers
Fill in and print all shipping document pdfs
Help offload and inspect shipments
Process with airline’s agents
Work closely with other coordinators to meet deadlines
Phone, fax and email correspondence with carriers and customers as needed
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to handle physical workload and lift 30 lb boxes
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Basic computer knowledge
Able to keep comprehensive notes and tracking of information
Must have excellent attention to ACCURACY and also be detailed oriented
A self-starter with an ability to handle stress with a smile
Must be reliable, flexible
USA DRIVER’S LICENSE REQUIRED
Background check required (No violent crimes, theft, fraud, or drugs.)
