As a full-service information security firm, we leverage our knowledge combined with the industry standards for compliance and information security issues to provide our customers with world class information security & compliance services.This is a remote position enabling you to work from your dedicated home office environment, reporting to the Marketing Manager and supporting the marketing efforts, programs, and strategies of the company.SUMMARY:CampusGuard, a Nelnet Company, provides cybersecurity, compliance, Online Training, and Treasury Solutions services for campus and community-based organizations including higher education institutions, healthcare providers, state and local government agencies, utilities and critical infrastructure, and hospitality markets. As a full-service cybersecurity and payments advising firm, we leverage our knowledge combined with industry standards to provide our customers with world-class cybersecurity, compliance, and payment advisory services.The Marketing Specialist helps develop, execute, and monitor marketing activities across the company’s full-service offerings. This includes researching various markets, analyzing trends to help define CampusGuard’s marketing strategy, developing content, promoting brand awareness, assisting with lead generation, and providing advice as to how best reach target markets.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Activities include, but are not limited to the following:

Assist the Marketing Manager in managing marketing campaigns. Have the ability to translate data into insights that can be used to develop marketing strategies that provide tangible results to the company.

Conduct market research to find answers about target market requirements, habits, and trends.

Oversee SEO initiatives for our website, which involve enhancing our current content to maximize keyword utilization, conducting keyword audits and devising strategies, boosting our backlink profile, handling technical audit reports, addressing site maintenance and error removal, monitoring key metrics monthly, and producing monthly reports.

Build compelling content from this research and customer success into materials including the corporate website, newsletter, blogs, case studies, videos, presentations, webinars, design and content, infographics, and print materials to engage, nurture, and convert prospects.

Assist with the design and development of all print and electronic marketing materials.

Write, proo, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.

Manage social media efforts which include promoting CampusGuard and RedLens InfoSec, a division of CampusGuard, by maintaining our social media calendar, posting compelling content on our various social media channels, and developing and implementing strategic initiatives to help drive audience growth and engagement.

Assist with conference and roundtable event logistics, including but not limited to managing registrations, attendees, booth design and set-up, conference handouts, materials, on-site contractors, and giveaways.

Assist with digital communication strategies and tactics including multi-channel social media, email campaigns, and other forms of electronic communications/digital interactions.

Work with other brand development techniques and capabilities to showcase CampusGuard products and solutions.

Track lead generation from specific marketing activities to sales leads to new customers to determine the most successful marketing techniques, strategies, platforms, and venues.

Work collaboratively with other teams within CampusGuard to gain content, references, customer quotes, and other relevant materials for use throughout a variety of marketing campaigns.

Provide input to management on competitor messaging, positioning, and content as relevant or requested.

Work with external agencies and vendors to execute joint marketing programs as required.

Perform other duties/tasks as requested by management.

Assist with sales activities:

Attend conferences as appropriate.

Other sales support duties as requested.

Pay Range for this position - $70,000 - $80,000EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:The Marketing Specialist must have sufficient service delivery knowledge and experience to coordinate customer project activities. Minimum acceptable education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, or the equivalent, and/or 2 years of experience in a Marketing and/or Project Management capacity. Minimum acceptable work experience requirements:

Strong familiarity with marketing and multimedia development.

Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential, with demonstrated experience in personnel management.

Direct experience with higher education electronic commerce is a plus.

Experience in working with cybersecurity and compliance services is a plus.
