Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleAs Manager within our IT organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT Operations Center, which provides 24/7 support for the IT infrastructure and services of our organization and includes the major incident management team, which handles the resolution of critical incidents that affect the business continuity and customer satisfaction.LocationThis role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.The Main Responsibilities

As an IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT operations center, which provides 24/7 support for the IT infrastructure and services of our organization.

You will also lead the major incident management team, which handles the resolution of critical incidents that affect business continuity and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with other IT managers, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the alignment of IT operations with the business objectives and strategies.

You will also monitor the performance, availability, and reliability of the IT systems and services, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of the IT operations.

What We Look For in a CandidateRequired Qualifications :

Preferred three to five years of experience in IT operations management or lead position, preferably in a large and complex IT environment or similar Team Lead experience.

Preferred experience in leading and managing IT operations center and major incident management teams or similar experience.

Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective performance management of all staff, including objectives setting and development plans

Preferred Qualifications:

Build good relationships with our clients, peer managers and other Lumen teams through appropriate communication and teamwork.

Must have excellent interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills

Strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills, with demonstrated ability to determine root cause to performance shortfalls and implement corrective actions

Ability to develop effective key collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries and experience working within and managing virtual teams

Ability to develop and motivate employees to do what it takes to get things done, set an example by embodying Lumen’s unifying principles

Certifications in IT service management are a plus.

The purpose of this position is to provide customer service to patrons, sales of tickets, and perform a variety of duties in support of the Information, Tickets, and Travel program. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Provide customer service, information and support of community recreation programs and activities. Provide services to MWR customers, which includes, but is not limited to checking ID cards to ensure authorized use of recreation facilities, resources and equipment, providing information about activities and program offerings, opening and closing facilities, ordering and restocking supplies, and preparing snack bar menu items or pre-packaged retail items. Collect fees from customers associated with sales of tickets, retail and rental items, as well as from classes, trips, and various other community recreation programs using Point of Sales (POS) and computer programs. Complete a Daily Activity Report (DAR) at the end of every shift and is accountable for the accuracy of daily sales transactions. Assists in processing customer Internet registrations (i.e. Net Near You), initial log-ins and event registrations. Checks Community Recreation equipment and resources in and out, collects any applicable rental fees, inventories items and completes inspections upon return. Notifies supervisor or program lead if damage or loss has occurred. Ensures all rental or checkout forms are properly completed and reservation and checkout procedures are followed.
