This position is responsible for inspection, installation and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, Gas monitors, SCBAs, Kenwood Walkie Talkie radios and Fall protection retractable.  This position is an active, hands-on role requiring contact with vendors, customers, operations, field locations, and corporate departments.  Preferred experience in safety products, safety concepts, utility and/or the construction industry is a plus.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, onsite installations and obtain portable FE license through International Code Council “ICC”.Performs testing, troubleshooting, sensor replacement and calibration for Draeger Gas Monitors.Performs flow test and maintenance for Draeger Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus “SCBA”.Performs testing, repair, and syncing frequencies for Kenwood Walkie-Talkie radios.Use hand tools, power tools and other equipment following detailed instructions, processes, and procedures to repair fall protection retractable.Performs routine inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs on rental personal protective equipment (PPE).Offer technical assistance and phone support to customers related to FE, SCBA, Walkie Talkie and Retractable.Process point-of-sales transactions accurately and efficiently.Be able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours a day and lift a minimum of 40 lbs. consistently.Provide outstanding customer service.Complete transactions by processing purchase orders, cash, and credit cards.Notify management of potential security issues.Work with team members to keep service room clean and organized.
