Training ConsultantCornerstone University is looking for a Training Consultant to enable customers to be self-sufficient and successful in using Cornerstone’s products by facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions and employing a consultative learning approach that ties product functionality to customer business requirements.In this role you will

Facilitate training in a classroom setting by providing lectures and product demonstrations, guiding discussions, and in-class exercises

Earn Cornerstone product certifications by passing certification examinations

Explain concepts in a comprehensive manner and relate concepts to “real life” use cases and business scenarios

Host high quality training webinars that are engaging and promote a deep understanding of Cornerstone’s products

Draw out and engage participants by asking and answering questions.

Meet the expectations and requirements of our customers by sharing knowledge, experience, and insight through training.

Create an atmosphere conducive to learning and empowerment both in the classroom and virtual.

Recommend best practice approaches and workarounds and deliver on-the-spot coaching as necessary.

Provide a consultative approach by quickly assessing the customer’s knowledge and skills and determine how to help the customer achieve their learning goals and objectives.

Create training documentation, reference materials, and class handouts.

Continually evaluate the quality and effectiveness of training/educational offerings and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.

Evaluate and monitor effectiveness of training assets such as PowerPoint presentations and make appropriate improvements.

Be accountable for providing the customer with the required skills and tools for self-sufficiency using the system.

Stay up to date and demonstrate knowledge of Cornerstone’s products, training and development research; adult learning principles, new training methods and techniques.

Contribute to Cornerstone University and special projects as needed.

You’ve got what it takes if you have

Ability to adapt quickly to new technology, new processes, and standards in an environment of continuous improvement.

Strong time management skills and ability to meet all scheduled deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in education, L&D, or related field or equivalent.

Experience with Cornerstone Products a plus (will consider experience with other talent management systems).

Previous experience facilitating training at a technology company.
