We are currently looking for Cashier/ Instructor Position.
Flexible work days are preferred.
Ability to work weekends.
Training is provided.
Cashier Position:
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Greet customers and respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate the register, POS system, register reservations, and provide change for purchases.
- Comply with federal and state laws by requesting personal identification from customers who are shooting firearms.
- Maintain proper cash levels in register drawer.
- Stock and refill register area inventory. Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions at all times throughout the store.
- Communicate with the management team regarding customer requests or concerns.
- Support and follow all safety guidelines and initiatives. Adhere to the execution of established, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures and practices.
- Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to work well with others
- Help customers with questions and/or concerns both in person and over the phone
- Sell and up-sell firearm packages
- Process all card and cash transactions and have the ability to multitask.
- Follow directions that are given.
- Team player.
Instructor Position:
JOB FUNCTIONS: The responsibilities and essential duties performed by appointed individuals include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide firearms training for first time shooters who have never handled a firearm.
- Provide personal instruction to the public. Customers can be anywhere in age from 10 years old and older.
- Operate, demonstrate, and provide instruction on primary weapons systems including shotguns, handguns and patrol rifles.
- Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with all customers.
- Represent the company by conducting themselves in a professional manner that reflects positively on the facility.
- Work cooperatively with all staff to achieve company's goals.
- Lift and carry boxes of ammunition and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability and willingness to work weekends.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Perform other projects and tasks, as assigned.
- Follow and uphold the company's policies at all times.
- Follow all rules and tasks that are given by the company
The Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
- College Degree Preferred but Not Required
- Friendly and positive daily attitude
- Able to work with others and problem solve
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Critical Thinking Skills and Patience
- Able to be flexible.
Speaking another language is preferred but not required
